Happy Friday Parents!

Here is a cute idea from the Holderness Family for a Spirit Week for Family Chores.  Thought it was a cute idea that maybe you could do next week.

Thank you for all of your hard work you are doing.  Enjoy the weekend.

Place to Visit

Hi Parents!

Here are some great websites to visit while we are inside.  You can make fake plane tickets or pretend to drive to these places and have your student explore.  Have Fun!

Daily Schedules

Kids love when there is structure in place.  It maybe a good idea to implement a schedule to your distant learning school days at home.   Here is a great example of one from Jessica Kingsley Publishers Ltd:

Distant Learning

Dear Families,
Online learning in Adams 12 started on Wednesday, April 1 and will continue through Thursday, April 30. I will continue working with your student(s) through a combination of ways such as using Seesaw, Google Classroom, and co-teaching with the Significant Support Needs (SSN) teacher through Class DoJo. Weekly activities provided at your child's ability level will be provided weekly to be completed at a time that is convenient for the family.
Additionally, I will also be available to meet with you and your students by doing office hours through appointments, or anytime via email. I will also continue to collaborate and consult with teachers to ensure that all students are supported as best as possible during this period of online learning.
Each student can find specific goal-based activities on their platform page (Seesaw, Google Classroom, or Class DoJo). These folders will be updated each week. Instructions for completing the activities with be included with the lesson.
If there are any questions or difficulties accessing resources, please don't hesitate to reach out at any point! My contact information can be found below my name on this blog post or on the school website.
Take Care,
Mrs. Kim Walker, MS ED, CCC-SLP
